Dr. Kilpatrick has been serving the Vero Beach community for decades and is known for his calm presence, clear communication, and dedication to both companion and exotic animals. He leads our hospital with a focus on practical, compassionate care.
Brittany
Office Manager
Brittany is our Office Manager at Southside Veterinary Hospital and has been dedicated to the veterinary field for 13 years. She earned her degree from Florida Atlantic University and takes great pride in her extensive knowledge of internal medicine, surgery, and patient care, particularly for those with illnesses or in the hospital. She is equally passionate about managing the clinic and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time at home with her three hounds, relaxing with a good book, playing video games, enjoying the outdoors, and being surrounded by friends and family. Above all, she truly loves the work she does each day.
Alexis
Veterinarian Technician
Alexis is one of our Veterinary Technicians at Southside Veterinary Hospital and has been working in the field for seven years. She graduated from Indian River State College and takes pride in educating clients, helping patients feel better, and providing care to sick or injured animals. Outside of the hospital, Alexis loves spending time at the beach, attending church, horseback riding, and relaxing at home with her pets — two cats and one dog.
Brooke
Veterinary Technician
Brooke is one of our Veterinary Technicians at Southside Veterinary Hospital and has been practicing for four years. She takes pride in caring for “spicy” cats and strays, always ready to take on a challenge. She especially enjoys assisting with dental procedures and, as a Type 1 Diabetic, brings a unique level of understanding and compassion when helping clients and patients manage pet diabetes. Outside of work, Brooke cares for her own “home zoo” of cats, chickens, fish, and reptiles. She also enjoys creating artwork — painting, drawing, and sculpting — and spending time playing video games.

Client Coordinator/Receptionist
Marcia is a Client Coordinator and Receptionist at Southside Veterinary Hospital, bringing over 30 years of experience to the team. She prides herself on building long-lasting relationships and truly getting to know clients over the years. In her free time, Marcia enjoys playing games like Solitaire and spending time with her neighbors.

Britt is a Client Coordinator at Southside Veterinary Hospital, bringing 22 years of experience to her role. Originally from Maine, she takes pride in creating positive experiences and striving for happy endings for every patient and client she supports. In her free time, Britt enjoys gardening, horseback riding, and spending time with her pets.
